History for Primary Schools Book 4

History for primary schools has been written to fully satisfy the requirements of the newly introduced and independent History curriculum for primary learning level, provided by the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC).

Each book of the course, organised around themes, fully reflects the contents of the new curriculum. This arrangement clearly permits the infusion and integration of emerging global issues on meaning and nature of history, patterns of inter-group relations, attributes of heroes and heroines, political developments, migration and settlement patterns, historical sites and civilisation centres, trade and commerce, and evolving global challenges.
