Fitness and Fun Book 3

This is the third book of a six-year course published for primary schools. It has been written to completely cover the new Universal Basic Education (UBE) curriculum for Physical and Health Education produced by the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC).

The book, which clearly follows the thematic approach adopted by the Universal Basic Education Programme, and reflects its learning-by-doing concept to develop practical skills in pupils, aims among other things, to produce individuals that are physically fit and health-conscious, and well prepared to help in Government’s attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and implementation of the National Economic and Empowerment Development Strategies (NEEDS).
